Philippe Gonzalez goes crazy when he’s forced to work the Christmas Holidays at the Mexican hotel that employs him. Things go from bad to worse for him when his holiday guests begin to get on each other’s nerves. Working class Windsor couple Burt and Karen Kaminski come to Cancun in order to celebrate their first empty next Christmas together now that both the kids are off in college. Young upwardly mobile Toronto couple Ken and Tiffany have just graduated university and their wealthy parents have sent them on a Christmas vacation to celebrate their new engagement to one another. While rubbing on the sunscreen by the pool the two couples end up rubbing each other the wrong way and the poor frustrated Philippe must step when a classic Mexican standoff ensues.
