In March of 1984, the Childs Family purchased the Oaks Inn from Ten-Op Development.  A lot has changed since that day, twenty-five years ago, but one thing that has remained the same is our commitment to service, here, and in our community.   We are proud to be a part of this community and proud to have third generation owners in Josh and Jake Childs who will be assuming control of day to day operations in the years to come.

To show our appreciation to our customers, we are offering the following specials until the end of June.

 

IN OUR DINING ROOM
Beginning May 22, our weekend buffets will include homemade desserts at no extra cost.  Turtle Fudge Brownies, Strawberry shortcake, an assortment of cream and fruit pies, our popular cheesecake and assorted pastries, to name a few. 

Our Sunday Brunch will be featured for $9.95 including coffee.  The current price is $10.95 plus coffee.

For our weekday specials, we are reverting back to specials we once featured at close to the price of yesteryear.

In the mornings, we will be featuring the Oakwich, formally known as the Franwich, named after Fran Childs, is normally $3.95.  Until the end of June, it is on for $2.95

 

IN OUR LOUNGE
Starting Friday, May 22, we will be featuring King Cans of Molson Canadian for the price of a bottle.  It’s like getting 1 ½ bottles of beer for the same price.

 

FOR THE BUSINESS TRAVELLER
Beginning Tuesday, May 19, travelers arriving at the Oaks Inn Sunday – Thursday evening will receive a coupon worth $4.00 for the Cookhouse Dining Room.  This coupon will cover the equivalent of a continental breakfast or it can be used toward a hot breakfast.
